I know there are perhaps other more useful, productive sites out there on the internets, but I am constantly finding myself shaking my head at the genius of YouTube, wishing I had thought of it. It is useful in more ways than one could list.
One of the things I like to do on YouTube is to watch performances by my favorite bands that I might not have seen elsewhere, like on late night talk shows, tv channels I don’t have, or even overseas performances. (This is one of the brilliant things about YouTube i alluded to.)
I have also noticed, in searching for the bands or songs I want to hear, that there are many videos of amateurs who have uploaded videos of themselves playing their favorite songs on their acoustic guitar in their living room. (This is another one of those things, by the way.) This can be good, but is often very, very bad.
What kind of post would this be if I did not provide examples, both atrocious and epic? Enjoy…
