Sex offender found lurking in local middle school

Parent’s at Washington Middle School in the Mehlville school district got an alarming phone message Monday.

District officials told them a suspicious man was found in the school building. Officials say the school guard approached him, got his name, and told him to leave.

His named was later checked and found on the sex offender list of another state. Police are currently trying to find this man.
