We have one graduation down, (preschool) and two to go, (kindergarten and 5th grade) and I am starting to think that like everything else in elementary school these days that has to be politically correct and equal, they are going to start having graduations for every grade so no one feels left out. That is not official yet, though, as I hear AARP is protesting this because all the grandparents on fixed incomes are complaining about having to send out so many graduation checks. (My wife and I were both a little shocked when #4 got a couple of preschool graduation cards. We were not aware they made those.)
Kidding aside, all of my graduating daughters, numbers one, three and four, are very proud of their accomplishments, as they should be. They each worked very hard, had good years and are looking forward to their next challenges, which will be, if you are still with me, junior high, first grade and kindergarten, respectively.
Poor #2, all she did was finish the 3rd grade. We’ll have to see if there is a card for that and whether or not grandma has any money left.
