Just wanted to let you all in on something new. This blog here is about me, my family, St. Louis, social media, social media in St. Louis, new technological stuff, things that I enjoy, etc. But I also maintain a blog for my office products company, called Deals.com. The purpose of that blog is to inform its readers about office supply industry news, rebate offers and other specials. Mostly the posts there are primarily for your benefit, meaning anyone can use most of these deals to save money anywhere, not just in St. Louis or even through my company, (though I certainly hope you will give me an opportunity to help you with your needs). Either way, the bottom line is if you use office products, Deals.com can be a money saving resource for you.
The two sites are complimentary to each other, but they don’t often overlap. However when there are goings-on over there that could be a benefit to you, the readers of this blog, I want to make you aware of them.
To that end, I am starting something there called Deal of the Day that I want to let you in on. What this is in a nutshell is a semi-regular post highlighting an unbelievable price on an office product item. It will be an overstock, but otherwise new product that we are featuring on sale, in a limited supply, for a very short period of time. It may be a toner cartridge, or paper, or some other random office supply we or our supplier is trying to unload at a rock bottom price.
You don’t have to do anything to take advantage of these deals other than watch for them. For now, I just want you to be aware that you can subscribe to the feed of Deals.com, or get the posts by email (sign up on the home page), or watch for my deal of the day tweets. You won’t use every item I post, but sooner or later, the item will be something you use, and you will probably want to take advantage of it when it is.
So get ready. The first one will hit the Deals.com blog tomorrow, with an advance notification earlier on twitter. I will give you a hint, it’s a toner, and if your printer brand rhymes with mother, and this one fits it, you will want to be paying attention tomorrow morning.
