But I have been talking up the multitude of good reasons to switch to compatible toner for years to my customers. Here is someone else’s take on it.
Compatible toners are less expensive and friendlier to the environment. Plus, most of the reasons why some people have a negative connotation of copmatibles have gone by the wayside due to advances in technology. Now, it is up to the consumer to buy a reputable brand of compatibles, because it is still true that they are not all created equal, but once that has been determined, you are really safe to make the switch.
Just make sure they are remanufactured, not refilled, and they are sold by a reputable business that will stand behind them.
