Canon’s Rebate Company Files Ch. 11

by Greg Bussmann on November 20, 2008

From Greg Scoblete at TWICE, (This Week in Consumer Electronics) comes news that the company Canon uses to process it’s consumer rebates has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.  Canon has also made a statement.

Apparently if you have a rebate check you are being asked not to cash it, but I am not yet sure how this will affect you if you are still waiting for a check, or if you just bought something with a rebate.  That said, Canon will not leave it’s customers holding the bag on this.  My advice would be to stay tuned, hang on to your receipts, and see what Canon comes up with.

If you are a customer of ours affected by this, or if you need any further information from me, please email me here.
