The letter of explanation from the parent to the teacher, explaining that she is not an exotic dancer, rather a snow shovel salesperson at Home Depot auctioning off her last shovel, is humorous as well. Click on over and read it.
So, do we believe the mom?
The part of it that has me shaking my head is this: how many of us with kids in school have not been in a similarly embarrassing situation? Kids say things. One of my kids told a teacher once that I had pushed my wife down the stairs. My point is, is it amazing to anyone else that these embarrassing situations can end up spreading all over the internet? Our lives are increasingly carried out in a fishbowl.
Anyone have a good embarrassing story from your kid’s school?
And no, I didn’t…do you really think I am capable of something like that?
